iPhone OS 3.1 Adds Video Editing Ability to iPhone 3G and iPod Touch
The latest iPhone firmware update: iPhone OS 3.1 comes with video editing ability for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch.
Note that you don’t need to jailbreak your iPhone 3G in order to get video editing capability in iPhone 3G. Before the new 3.1 OS, iPhone 3GS was the only iPhone having video editing capabilities and a lot of Jailbreakers have installed the “VIDEO EDIT” package through Cydia in order to have the same features/capabilities. Now all you have to do is update to 3.1 OS and the Video edit option/capability will be added to you iPhone 3G or iTouch device.
However iPhone 2G users are still missing this feature so don’t try to upgrade to 3.1 just for this additional option, you will be very unhappy to learn that after the upgrade you have gain absolutely nothing.
In iPhone OS 3.1 all you have to do is save a movie from your email. Then you will be able to cut and edit it directly from the camera roll and exactly like you would on 3GS.
