Apple is Giving Out Free iTunes Movie Rentals by Sending Out Coupons and Rental Codes

Heads Up Guys…
With the recent release of AirPlay, Apple is working on locking down your Apple TV inhabited living rooms, and what better way to show off the technology than by offering users a freebie?
It seems Apple is giving out early Christmas presents to iTunes users today by emailing out free iTunes Movie Rental codes to selected number of iTunes users through their registered iTunes email addresses.
The free rentals appear to be limited to the United States, and it is unclear how Apple is selecting users to receive the offers.
iTunes has more than 8,500 movies, including new releases, to rent without late fees, envelopes, or queues. Try one today on us.
Redeem your free movie rental below, and start watching one of your favorite movies on iTunes. Watch what you want, when you want. Enjoy movie rentals on your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, the all-new Apple TV, or on your computer. You have 30 days from the moment you rent a movie to start watching, and 24 hours to finish it.
Apple launched iTunes movie rentals in January 2008, but has been pushing the rental model in recent months with the introduction of the new streaming-only Apple TV and TV show rentals in September.
I can’t say I’m much of an iTunes renter; I’m not too fond of their “watch the whole thing in 24 hours or lose it” model, but that’s just me. Of course you have a full 30 days to hold on to the rental, as long as you don’t start viewing it.
Regardless of the reasoning and the restrictions though, free is free, and of course the movies are available to watch on your iPhone along with all of the other popular iOS devices. We just wish Apple would send a few codes in this direction.
