MuscleNerd recently tweeted to Pod2G, that he thinks GeoHotz will be releasing an untethered jailbreak for newer A4 iDevices after February 10th.

Could this mean that GeoHotz will be releasing the rumored RubyRa1n jailbreaking tool? I really don’t know but this is the second time MuscleNerd has tweeted about GeoHotz having an untethered jailbreak for newer iDevices (the first time being in the beginning of January).

Another thing that seems interesting about GeoHotz proposed untethered jailbreak, is it is an iBoot level exploit. Thus meaning that it is a lot more useful to the jailbreaking community, because it isn’t as easily patched by Apple, compared to a userland exploit.

As you can see this definitely seems like a legit tweet, and hopefully we actually see something like this for the iOS 4.3 firmware. Unfortunately as you can see by the tweet above, there isn’t a set day for the release of GeoHotz next jailbreak, but we assume it will be in the month of February.
