iPhone Dev Team has announced a highly welcomed Redns0w update. The latest Redsn0w 0.9.9b7 brings us a new option in the “extras” section in which you can choose to either have Redsn0w skip or stash the default applications during the jailbreak.

Sony Takes Geohot and Fail0verfl0w Members to Court Over PS3 Jailbreak and Exploits going Public.

Our boy GeoHot also known as George Hotz is being sued by Sony Corporation for making PlayStation 3 exploits and jailbreak tools public.

Sony has just filed a restraining order against Geohot and members of team fail0verflow for jailbreaking the Sony Playstation 3 and making this exploit available to general public.

Defendants George Hotz, “Bushing,” Hector Cantero, Sven Peter and “Segher” (collectively, “Defendants”) are computer hackers. Working individually and in concert with one another, Defendants recently bypassed effective technological protection measures (“TPMs”) employed by plaintiff Sony Computer Entertainment America LLP (“SCEA”) in its proprietary PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system (“PS3 System”).
