As you all know, yesterday Apple has released the new 4.0.2 Firmwares for iPhones and iPod Touch Devices and the new 3.2.2 Firmware for iPads to block / patch the PDF exploit that was use by comex for the JailbreakMe.com userland jailbreak.

Of course by doing so you will lose your Jailbreak and Unlock after the iDevice is updated to the new firmware.

The iPhone Dev-Team has released the PDF Patch to fix the iOS vulnerability used by comex’s jailbreak. Read more…

Apple will release iOS 4.0.2 and iOS 3.2.2 in few hours. Backup/SAVE Your SHSH Blobs Now!!!

August 11th, 2010 No comments

A member of the iPhone Dev-Team Cpich has heard that Apple is planning to release a new version of the iOS 4 (4.0.2 and 3.2.2) in few hours / today, which will update the iPhone firmware and will prevent JailbreakMe.com from working.

Just so you know, if you accidentally update your iPhone or iPad or iPod Touch to iOS 4.0.2 / iOS 3.2.2, you will lose your Jailbreak and Unlock and you will not be able to Jailbreak or Unlock your device until a new tool is available.

The only way you can jailbreak again will be by downgrading back to iOS 4.0.1 or iOS 4 and you can only do so if you have saved your SHSH blobs. Read more…
