Verizon has announced that pretty soon all FiOS subscribers (which is me/iphonetechie) will be able to watch live TV on their iPads but only from inside their home, according to newteevee.

Also, HBO Go is planning on coming to an iPad as well. Six months from now, if you have an HBO subscription with Comcast or Verizon FiOS you will be able to watch HBO TV Shows  and movies in HD on your iPad without paying to anything else extra (other than your original HBO subscription). As you may have heard Apple has an accessory for the iPad called Camera Connection Kit for connecting the camera or SD-card and importing pictures directly into the photo album.

I have purchased this Camera Connection Kit for my wife to make her life easier for the pictures / camera import options and of course to use the USB connector to see what I can do with it.

While playing around with this kit I have found an interesting feature which allows you to use the USB connector for the USB Flash Drives / USB Sticks to import any type of documents or files into the iPad and pretty much have access to the entire content of the USB flash drive that is plugged into the Camera Connection Kit via USB. As you all know, yesterday Apple has released the new 4.0.2 Firmwares for iPhones and iPod Touch Devices and the new 3.2.2 Firmware for iPads to block / patch the PDF exploit that was use by comex for the JailbreakMe.com userland jailbreak.

Since this “PDF” exploit is highly vulnerable, Apple recommended everyone to update to this new firmwares for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices in order to secure all iOS based devices. Of course by doing so you will lose your Jailbreak and Unlock after the iDevice is updated to the new firmware.

Apple has just released iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to patch the PDF exploit which was used by JailbreakMe to jailbreak all iOS devices on iOS 3.2.1.
