Problem solved, it works with 3.1.3! For those with the same question:
- iPhone 3G
- Firmware 3.1.3
- Modemfirmware: 05.12.01

I’ve given my iPhone 3G to my girlfired, officially unlocked it with my provider, but now I want to DISABLE all 3G and EDGE communication (she has no data contract wit her provider).
I’ve found quite some ways to disable 3G and EDGE data on the iphone, but none of them seem to work with 3.1.3…
Does this solution work, and indeed disable all data communication (except wifi of course…)? Or are there any hardware requirements I should know of?

Hi guys,
just follow this guy,

for ppl who have problems with SSH method or winscp like i did,
gave me stupid messages like “connection failed” and s**h like that,

use this software, http://www.iphone-explorer.com/
then navigate to that location,

delete all the repo’s, restart cydia,

do a full upgrade, it will ask u to,
ur all done

Will the Native MMS iPhone 2G work with firmware 3.1.3 ?

I just jailbreaked a 2G which is 3.1.3 am sceptical as the high est firmware listed is 3.1.2
