@Fons Hey man, you can use a new Jailbreak that is so easy its scary. Just go to, “Jailbreakme.com” in safari and slide the bar to jailbreak. Its very easy and works great. I have my iPhone 3GS running 4.0.1 and it works with 3.1.2, 4.0, 4.0.1 Hope this helped!!

Dont add. http://elpelle6.com/repo , as it will lead u to be in trouble, after sometime, cydia will show database error, only solution is to remove http://elpelle6.com/repo repo.
