Just wondered if anyone is having a problem since going to 3.1 my phone crashes daily requiring a hard reset

Is your 3.1 Jailbroken? Did you use custom IPSW file to Jailbreak it or did you upgrade your iPhone through iTunes?
Remember Max you helped me for about 2 hours via email and then finally I called you from Cincinnati and you walked me thru getting the phone up and running that I bought from you. Again thank you for taking the time to help me. I was disperate and you helped

Hey Mr. Bob… I remember you now… How is everything going? You should upgrade your 3.1 to 3.1.2. the 3.1.2 fixes some items in the OS/Firmware, mainly; some iPhones would go to sleep and not wakeup… The 3.1.2 fixes that… It sounds like something you have…

Right now I am puzzled about my iphone.It’s a 3Gs 16 GB and was performing beautifully up until last Thursday night.I used blackra1n to do the unlock/JB.It’s an MC model with the new bootrom,I assume. Anyway,I was confident in that phone,and I downloaded many-many apps.,I learned SSH-ing,etc.On that night I was messing with it,dowloaded some pirated apps from Cydia,and wanted to reboot it,and behold,Geohot’s face stucked on my screen.Tried a million times but same thing.It got bricked,frozen on me.I either saw the iTunes logo+ USB cabel,or Geohot’s face. iTunes recognized the device in recovery mode,and wanted me to restore and upgrade to 3.1.3.I know better not to do it!! LoL But the frozen iphone is USELESS.I tried iRecovery,my Windows 7 screwed up from the downloaded lnks,and I even had to restore my Wndows…LoL I never updated to 3.1.3 FW,and of course,I have NO ECID saved on Saurik’s server either.I ended up selling it,knowing that because I NEVER updated to the 3.1.3,maybe on a another computer would work.Maybe it was a USB communications error. By the way,tried redsn0w on it,NOTHING.
It remained a mystery,unless it would kick back on another computer….Weird,don’t you think,Max???
hello was just wondering if some one could help me out i m trying to jailbreak/unlock my 2g iphone with 3.1.3 firmware installed is there a way to downgrade back to 3.1.2 so that this jailbreak/unlock will work for my phone or is there a better way to go about this i keep getting 1604 code? plz help me. thanks josh
Hello. I purchased your tutorial via ebay, the first time i jailbreak my phone it worked fine, then i tire to unlock it and when i turned the iphone on i wasn’t able to conect to ATT ( no network), so i restored the phone using regular restore, then i tryed to jailbreak it again
and it came up w/ error 16xx ( did it the first time too), i tryed to use iH8sn0w-iREB-V3.1.2-For-Windows-English, but i cannot get the white screen like i did the first time, do you have any clue. please send me a email at angumedeiros@msn.com

I just replied to you / your email… When you say You have restored your iPhone using “regular restore” what do you mean by that?
What Modem Firmware are you running? Go to SETTINGS>>>GENERAL>>>ABOUT and look at the Modem Firmware… If you see 05.11.07 you can still unlock it… If you see 05.12.01 you are locked for now… There is no way to unlock this version so you are stuck for the time being.

Hello, I just downloaded os 3.1.3 for my ipod touch 2g. I am currently running os 2.x and I want to upgrade to 3.1.3. I can’t upgrade to version 4 because my computer won’t handle a high enough version of itunes to run it, so I want to get version 3 because my itunes is compatible with that, and my ipod will run more apps with it. Apple won’t do it for me because their website will only upgrade my ipod to os 4.x, not 3.x, for some stupid reason!
Now that I have the firmware, I just need to know how to actually do it!!! Any help would be appreciated!
