Apple Error, iPhone 4 Pre Order

Apple updated their site and added an Online Store option to pre-order the iPhone 4 today, and its servers can’t handle the traffic either, or maybe AT&T’s.

I just tried to pre-order mine, and got this error message. A quick google search tells me we’re not alone on this one either.

It does seems like it’s probably an AT&T issue because it’s mostly giving out the errors when it was asking me for my AT&T account information to see if I was eligible for an upgrade

IF you see this error while trying to pre-order your iPhone 4 on Apple.com / Apple Online Store then you’re not alone.

Like many of you; I have been trying to “Pre-Order” my iPhone 4 this morning and all day since 4:00am and  every time I pick an option to upgrade my existing iPhone I get the same message: Read more…

Customers use their iPhones too much and have caused network problems in markets where their popularity is huge.

You know who you are: the ones who check out every application, play every game, call up every piece of news and check out every restaurant within 100 miles.

You are causing AT&T a big problem. You’re swamping the system, and AT&T, which has an exclusive right to market the iPhone in the United States, wants you to get a life and dial back.
