Twitter, Inc. has launched the official Twitter app for iPhone this week and now it’s available for downloads free of charge via AppStore.

For those of you who don’t know, the famous iPhone app named “Tweetie” was recently acquired by Twitter Inc. and now after a long wait, they have finally released it as “Twitter” App for iPhone.

The app is labeled as version 3.0 and can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store. Tweetie 2 was available for US $2.99 before Twitter Inc. purchased it.

Many people are pissed off and definitely not happy with this change or and upgrade…

The icon was changed from original tweetie icon to the Twitter’s fat cartoon bird outline. People are now getting ads in the new twitter app and old tweetie app didn’t have any adds because it was a paid version.

The old style retweet button is now gone. There is only way to retweet now, the same as the Twitter web interface.

Hackulous has released the Installous 3.1 which has full support the Apple latest and greatest toy the iPad. Of course you must have a Jailbroken iPad in order to install this Installer.

This version of Installous 3.1 allows you to browse through IPA database of the Apptrackr.org (Biggest and cleanest IPA download site) and download and install any IPA file directly onto your iPad without connecting it to the iTunes. Here is the tutorial on how to use the Installous 3.1 to download and install cracked IPA files.

INSTALLOUS IS UPDATED TO 3.1.2

The new version 3.1.2 brings support for iPad, along with a brand new user interface and a download manager
which supports multiple files download at once.

Before I will write about the Installous you need to make sure you have your prerequisites completed so if you don’t have Hackulous Source in your device you need to add it and install AppSync.

You will have to do this before you read the second part about Installous 3.1

First thing you need to do is make sure you have a Jailbroken device… (NOTE: Illustrated step by step tutorial on info below can be found here)

1. Open Cyida (NOTE: If you have just jailbroken your device, make sure you RESTART it before trying to install AppSync)
2. Click on the Manage Tab at the bottom and then Sources Button
3. Add the hackulo.us source (http://cydia.hackulo.us)
4. While in Cydia, tap on Search and search for AppSync or Just tap on the newly added source to see all the Packages from it. Tap on the AppSync for OS 3.2
5. Install “Appsync for OS 3.2″ on your iPad and make sure you restart after the installation is complete
6. Enjoy! Now you can just drag and drop files to your iTunes and Sync your iPad or use Installous 3.1 to download and install IPA files directly onto the iPad.

Here comes the Installous 3.1 installation and overview.

Go back into Cydia, click on Manage Tab at the bottom of screen and then tap on Sources Button. You should see Hackulo.us source at the top of the screen. Tap on this source.

Tap on Installous package and install it. You will see the INSTALL button at the top right corner of the screen. On the next screen you will see CONFIRM button. Tap on it and let this package install. Once the package installs you will be asked to GO BACK TO CYDIA. You can do so or just hit the HOME button.

On your springboard you will see “Installous” icon, tap on it to open this application. When the Installous opens up, tap on the SETTINGS button located at the top right cornet and set toggles to ON positions for Install Automatically, Native Installation and Only Show iPad Apps.

Now the screen on the left should only show iPad Apps and Games on it. Select the App you want to download and install. On the right side of the screen you will see the description of the game or app you selected, including the screenshots, additional info, etc. at the top of the description screen you will see the DOWNLOAD button… Tap it to download and install selected IPA / Game or App. You will also see the download site/server where you will be downloading the IPA from; select any server you see. (appscene.Org is very popular)

After you select the desired server from which you will download the IPA file from you will see the following screen (see below) where you will have to either enter a “captcha” or click on download link again depending on a server you’re downloading from.

Now the DOWNLOAD screen will disappear, if you want to see the download progress you can click/tap on the DOWNLOADS button located at the top left corner of the description screen. You will see the progress bar and / or if the app was installed.

You will see a checkmark if and when the download is completed. See screenshot below. After the download is completed and your IPA file (Game or App) is installed you can hit the HOME button to get out of the Installous app. Your IPA/Game/App should be on your springboard. Enjoy your Cracked IPA files.

So you have Jailbroken your iPad and now trying to figure out how to install Apps and Games on your iPhone without using App Store or Cydia… This article will show you how to install cracked IPA files for the first and currently the latest iPad Firmware 3.2

As we all know Appulo.us was shut down by “Kyek” – the owner and creator of the site. The Appulo.us was a great site for downloading the IPA files for iPhone and iTouch devices, it was very popular, clean and easy to navigate.

I am considering picking up where Kyek left off and starting the same type of community IPA download and upload site.

Kyek made a promise to the comunity that if the site were ever to get shut down by him or anyone else, He would release the source code.

The promise I made back when I started Appulous was that, if the site were ever to get shut down by me or anyone else, I would release the source code. I also promised, on a few different occasions to a few different people, to provide the database (without user data — I have folks’ privacy to protect). Note that these are for educational purposes only. If you try to use it, the consequences are on you.

Well, we have the source code for the entire site and the latest – final database of all Apps/IPAs. I’m in the process of upgrading the iPhoneTechie.com from WP to Joomla CMS so once I’m done with the conversion I will start on the Appulo.us source code and database installation and integration.

Many of you asked me through emails and comments about my iPhone, what Apps, Games, Utilities, etc. I have on my device and what are the most “MUST HAVE” items you need to have / install after you Jailbreak your iPhone or iTouch.

Well, here is a list of my personal MUST HAVE’s and short explanation / overview of each item.

NOTE: Some of these items are strictly for iPhones but there are  lot of MUST HAVEs for iPod iTouches as well so don’t stop reading if you are a proud owner of an Apple iPod iTouch Device.

First thing I always do after the Jailbreak and all of you should do the same, is to open Cydia and make sure everything is up to date, so if this is your first time running Cydia or if you haven’t run Cydia in a while, you will get a notice about ‘Essential upgrades’. These are upgrades to the Cydia application itself that may be required for installing new packages and apps.

When presented with these options you should always go ahead and upgrade / choose Complete Upgrade or Upgrade Essential.

These guys are great, Everything you need to get your device started you can find in this repo.  So once the repo is added here is what you need to get installed from this repo.

Appsync (installd) is available for iPhone / iPod Touch OS 3.0 and 3.1. Appsync is a mobileinstallation patch for OS 3.x. iFile Cracked is a must to have Application / Program, this utility tool will allow you to browse through your iPhone or iTouch system files, delete items, add items, and much more. This App can be used instead of SSH into your device.

If you have a Safari Download Manager installed on your iPhone all your Downloads will be in your VAR/MOBILE/DOWNLOADS directory and you will be able to access them via iFile.

2 GAME MODES
