iPhone 4, iOS4 is unlockable

MuscleNerd has announced that iOS 4.0 Final, set to arrive next week, is confirmed to be unlockable for existing devices and possibly even for the iPhone 4.

P0sixninja the guy behind the “Greenpois0n” project has posted some information explaining greenpois0n, spirit, and Geohot’s latest exploits, and when they might be released.

iPhone Dev-Team Updates UltraSn0w Unlock Which Fixes the Missing Carrier Name

The iPhone Dev-Team has issued an update to the UltraSn0w unlock which fixes the disappearing carrier name issue.

UltraSn0w .92 was posted by MuscleNerd and uses an extra 10 lines of code to fix the carrier name. It is available on the normal repo666.ultrasn0w.com Cydia repository. Remember to use UltraSn0w you must be on the 04.26.08 baseband. Read more…
