Jailbreakers!!! Stay alert and don’t update your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to the new upcoming Apple iOS 4.1.1 which will come out very soon, you WILL lose your Jailbreak if you update to the iOS 4.1.1.

Apple has developed a fix for the daylight savings bug in iOS 4.1 and it will be released in an upcoming software update. According to ZDNET, the bug causes recurring alarms to go off an hour early than the actual set time.

Of course we all know why Apple is about to release this minor update, the update The update is also set to patch hacker comex’ untethering hack which is used by Geohot’s Limera1n Jailbreaking tool for iOS 4.1.

Jailbreakers STAY away from this update until it is confirmed and until there is a Jailbreak solution available for this iOS version. I would strongly recommend you save your SHSH blobs right now before it’s too late. Read more…

Hey guys, this is just a quick heads up for all of you who are new to this site. You can download all Apple iOS firmwares from our “Firmware Download” page and then use it to restore your iDevice to it.

A lot of people asked me where to download Apple Firmware Files from and I always give them the same answer…

You can download ALL iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad iOS firmware files from my site (Click Here). You will see a list of all currently available firmware versions for the original (2G) iPhone, the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4, from v1.0 to v4.1.0. the iPad firmwares and iPod Touch are available as well.

I would strongly recommend using Mozilla Firefox to download the firmware files. If you use Safari you will have to disable the auto unzip feature otherwise the Restore File will be downloaded as a Zip file

On Wednesday September 8th 2010 just like I was stating in my previously written article; Apple has released iOS 4.1 for the iPhone and iPod touch bringing numerous new features including a fix for the iPhone 4 proximity issues.

This is a Major Update and it contains a lot of improvements and additional features which some of us are really waiting for.

I usually give this warning to all Jailbreakers and Unlockers out there right before the new iOS Update / Upgrade comes out. Well here we go again.

According to Apple’s UK website, iOS 4.1 will hit on Wednesday, September 8th which means that ALL devices will get this update in every country.

The US Apple website still displays the non-commital “Coming Soon” message, so we have to keep our eyes on it for next couple of days.

Just about two hours ago I have written an post about a possible update from Apple for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices and exactly one hour later the update has been released.

Apple has just released iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to patch the PDF exploit which was used by JailbreakMe to jailbreak all iOS devices on iOS 3.2.1.

Apple has just released iOS 4.0.2 for all iPhones, iPod touches, and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to patch the PDF exploit which was used by JailbreakMe to jailbreak all iOS devices on iOS 4.0.1.

A member of the iPhone Dev-Team Cpich has heard that Apple is planning to release a new version of the iOS 4 (4.0.2 and 3.2.2) in few hours / today, which will update the iPhone firmware and will prevent JailbreakMe.com from working.

Just so you know, if you accidentally update your iPhone or iPad or iPod Touch to iOS 4.0.2 / iOS 3.2.2, you will lose your Jailbreak and Unlock and you will not be able to Jailbreak or Unlock your device until a new tool is available.

The only way you can jailbreak again will be by downgrading back to iOS 4.0.1 or iOS 4 and you can only do so if you have saved your SHSH blobs. Read more…
