Found another App today called PushMail by Simon Patarin… This app is very similar to the GPush for the GMail… Basically this App pushes notifications to your iPhone or iTouch every time you receive any emails.

Here is what Tiverias Apps (Developer of GPush) is saying about GPush…

GPush is the missing link between GMail and the iPhone. For the first time, receive instant Gmail message notifications on the iPhone. For best results, place the GPush app icon above your mail icon – this will allow you to quickly open your mail app if new messages come in through GPush.

I don’t know if this missing link will last long. I have downloaded and tested the GPush and was not impressed with it at all. It was pretty easy to setup, all you have to do is just enter your Gmail username and password and that’s all there is to it, additional controls such as sounds and alert permissions can be set/controlled from the iPhone’s settings menu.
