Rumor about iPhone Coming to Verizon in 2010

There are a lot of reasons to Jailbreak your iPhone and one of my favorite and most useful reasons is you can transfer files between iPhone and PC using SSH.

iPhone OS 3.1 Software Update is HERE – Jailbreakers DO NOT UPDATE!!!

iphone31OSApple has released iPhone OS 3.1 which includes a number of new features; however, its important to remember NOT to update your firmware. If you update now you will likely lose your unlock and maybe even your jailbreak (iPhone 3GS). We will provide instructions once a safe upgrade path is available.

GPush is the missing link between GMail and the iPhone. For the first time, receive instant Gmail message notifications on the iPhone. For best results, place the GPush app icon above your mail icon – this will allow you to quickly open your mail app if new messages come in through GPush.

I don’t know if this missing link will last long. I have downloaded and tested the GPush and was not impressed with it at all. It was pretty easy to setup, all you have to do is just enter your Gmail username and password and that’s all there is to it, additional controls such as sounds and alert permissions can be set/controlled from the iPhone’s settings menu.
