
Apple has just released iTunes 9.0.2 for Windows and Mac. Other than minor bug fixes, new iTunes comes up with better utilities including improved GUI and better navigation to multimedia options, iTunes LPs, better iPhone and iPod synchronization and support for Apple TV.

A lot of iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users are still using firmware 3.0, due to the fact that a Windows jailbreak has not been released for iPhone 3.1 firmware. AT&T released MMS for the iPhone on Friday September 25th 2009, and many jailbroken iPhone 3G/iPhone 3GS users still want MMS on their iPhones but don’t want to update to 3.1 until there is a jailbreak released for it. As many of you know on September 9th, 2009 Apple has came out with a new version of iTunes (iTunes 9)… Well along with that Apple also came out with the 3.1 OS Update for the iPhone and a lot of us / you had questions whether the RedSn0w 0.8 would be able to Jailbreak and Unlock the 3.1… The answer was / is “NO”, Dev Team is working on the 3.1 support for Jailbreak and Unlock for the iPhones and iTouches.
Here was another question that came up, this one is more relevant to this post… “If I have a Jailbroken / Unlocked iPhone or iTouch, can I upgrade to iTunes 9?” It was confirmed that YES you can upgrade to iTunes 9 if you’re iPhone is already Jailbroken and Unlocked.
