The iPhone Dev-Team has updated their blog with a statement that clearly reads that they will not be releasing a Jailbreak for the iOS 4.0.2 or iPad iOS 3.2.2.

Instead of wasting another exploit on a minor update (4.0.2 and 3.2.2) the iPhone Dev-Team will focus on finding a new exploit which could be used on the next major firmware update i.e. iOS 4.1. Read more…

The all-in-one untethered iDevice “SPIRIT” Jailbreak Tool for iPhone 3.1.3, iPad 3.2 and iPod touch 2G/3G  has just been updated to bring support for iTunes 9.2. This update is available for Windows OS. NOTE: You can download the updated Spirit Jailbreak here.

Earlier when Apple released the final version of iTunes 9.2, it broke the compatibility with Spirit and so this new version brings the required fix to make it compatible with iTunes 9.2. However no new feature has been added. It still does not work with iOS 4 and iPhone 4. Only iOS 3.1.3 and 3.1.2 for iPhone 3GS, 3G, 2G, iPod touch, and iOS 3.2 for iPad is supported. Read more…

George Hotz (a.k.a. Geohot) Jailbroke iPhone OS 4 Beta with updated Blackra1n!!! Dev-Team (Muscleneard) were the first ones to jailbreak this version, this OS 4 was jailbroken within 24 hours of its release.

Can this be another fake? We don’t know but some new team of hackers by the name “TheiPhoneDevTeam” have come up with a video, which shows iPhone 3.1.3 untethered jailbreak for all the iDevices which includes MC models of iPod touch and iPhone. Read more…
