iPhone Dev Team Released the PwnageTool 4.1

PwnageTool 4.1 has been released about 2 hours ago. You can use it to create custom firmware files without upgrading your basebands / Modem Firmware to (2.10.4 / 05.14.02)  on your iPhone 4, 3GS and iPhone 3G running on iOS 4.1 so that you can unlock it using the existing version of Ultrasn0w.

This version of PwnageTool also supports hacktivation so you don’t have to have original SIM in your device to have it up and running after the jailbreak.

iPhone Dev-Team Released new PwnageTool 4.1 for all iDevices

The iPhone Dev-Team has released PwnageTool 4.1 which adds supports for the Apple TV 2G and jailbreaks iOS 4.1 This version of PwnageTool that brings custom firmware bundles and jailbreaking to most iDevices.

This version of PwnageTool 4.1 brings support the iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, the iPod 2G, 3G, 4G, the iPad, and the Apple TV 2.

The new version of PwnageTool changes Expert Mode so that you always pick the ipsw manually instead of using Spotlight.


Through a combination of the recently released geohot limera1n exploit comex’s recently released pf exploit, and our original pwnage2 exploit, PwnageTool 4.1 works on these devices at firmware 4.1: Read more…
