The SHAtter jailbreak which was being saved for the next iPhone update has been leaked, according to tweets by MuscleNerd and p0sixninja.

P0sixninja is publicly accusing MuscleNerd of leaking the exploit; however, MuscleNerd states this is not the case and would be illogical for him to leak the exploit since he needs the jailbreak to perform an unlock for the next device. He also notes that there were 15 others in the room when the code was posted by pod2g.

Unfortunately, this likely means Apple will block the exploit by the time any new iDevices are released. Read more…

Two days ago I have written an article about SHAtter Exploit being leaked by iH8sn0w and that a Dutch Dev ‘iHaz3′ was going to reveal it by releasing the code into the wild / public. You can read that story / PART 1 by clicking on this LINK.

Here is PART 2 of this crazy story; the fight / back and forth continues. To me it sounds like 2-4 kids are crying and fighting about something that someone did and none of them are man enough to admit the fault and put a stop to this ordeal.

It seems that the unreleased SHAtter exploit that may jailbreak all future idevices has fallen into the wrong hands. Somehow some way a twitter user by the name iHaz3 has come across Chronic Devs SHAtter exploit and has it all for himself (NOTE: He claims that iH8sn0w had given him this exploit sometime ago). Once again there is a little bit of drama in the Jailbreak scene and this time its news worthy as it may affect thousands of jailbreak users.

iHaz3 a Dutch developer who has the SHAtter Jailbreak source code threatened to release it when his site was brought down by a DDOS attack.

Now iHaz3 threatens to reveal the source of the faulty Shatter because its host (the server which hosts iHaz3 particular website) would have been the victim of an organized attack by iH8sn0w and other members of the Chronic Dev Team.

NOTE: Few sources have claimed that iHaz3 has started distributing SHAtter’s exploit that will burn the exploit.

Come to find out our boy Geohot has another untethered jailbreak exploit that he held back from Limera1n to prevent Apple from learning about it.

Incase you were wondering why Geohot used a userland exploit from Comex to make Limera1n untethered, it was because he did not wanted to waste his untethered version of bootrom exploit.

Both Comex and MuscleNerd has confirmed that Geohot has in his possession a new untethered bootrom level exploit which can be used to pwn future iOS devices like iPhone 5 and iPad 2G for life. Read more…

As it was announced, a new Jailbreak Tool “GreenPois0n” will be released this Sunday 10/10/2010 at 10:10:10 (This day is also known as “funday” in the jailbreak comunity). This Jailbreak Tool / GreenPois0n will be released by the Chronic Dev Team not the iPhone Dev Team but many devs from Chronic and iPhone Dev Team are working together on this Jailbreak.

First of all, I have some BAD news for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod touch 3G owners… The new SHAtter Jailbreak is only going to work with new fourth generation A4 Apple Devices and will not work with any Apple Devices released prior to iPhone 4 and iPad…(Which are iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 3G, etc.)

MuscleNerd has confirmed that SHAtter exploit and GreenPois0n tool are only for the fourth-gen A4 devices like iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G, and iPad. It is not going to work on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod touch 3G.

Even though Chronic Dev Team hasn’t announced whether the SHAtter based GreenPois0n tool will be TETHERED or UNTETHERED yet.

But if this tweet from the well known Cydia developer is anything to go by, GreenPois0n is most likely going to be an untethered jailbreak for all iOS devices, including iPhone 4, iPad, iPod touch 4G and Apple TV 2G on iOS 4.1. Read more…

Members of Chronic Dev Team have finally confirmed that SHAtter based GreenPois0n iOS 4.1 Jailbreak for all iOS based devices will finally come out on October 10th 2010 at 10:10:10AM GMT.

According to them, the said tool is done and is ready to be released out to public for all of you and us to enjoy on the mentioned date and time.
