Unlock for Baseband 05.14.02 iPhone 3GS, 3G on iOS 4.2 & iOS 4.1 to Drop After 2 Days At Most Once iOS 4.2 is Public
Apple will be releasing iOS 4.2 sometime next month and with every new firmware update we all tend to ask the same question. When will the unlock be out?

Since he is the only dev who replies back to people on tweeter some of his followers asked him about the Ultrasn0w Unlock for the iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2 / basebands (Modem Firmware) 05.14.02, I was surprised by the answer just like many of you are.
In a reply to one of his many followers on Twitter, MuscleNerd of iPhone Dev Team has confirmed that ultrasn0w unlock for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G on iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2, with 05.14.02 baseband will be released in a day or two at most, once iOS 4.2 is released to public.
